Project Kalay is a charitable initiative dedicated to promoting health and hygiene in under-served populations. Our flagship project started in 2015 in Myanmar (Burma) seeks to improve the health of orphans in that country through health education and routine hygiene practices. As result of the pandemic and more current political situation in Myanmar, we are currently focusing on immediate humanitarian relief to provide food security for the people we have been working with for the past 6 years. IMPORTANT NOTICE July 2024: Sadly, the severity of the ongoing political unrest in Myanmar has made it impossible to continue our work there at this time. However, we are continually monitoring the dynamic situation and sincerely hope we may return at some point in the future. In the meantime, we are currently evaluating alternate mechanisms to support children’s health. Please check back to this site for more updates.
